chrisr Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Hello, I just bought a 1997 banshee and it has Toomey t3's, a single k&n filter, and the cover of the filter box is off. Whant should my jeting be. I took it out to Glamis this thanksgiving weekend for the first time. it ran great for the first day and then the next day it became very hard to start. and its boggs out a little while riding. fuel mixture is VP 110 octane at 28:1in southern california Thank you Quote
tsuther78 Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Just a quick question..... Why are you running 110 on a t-3 piped bike??? Is there some other work done that you did not state??? Quote

Pro Circuit built my other 2 bikes and they swear by this fuel mixture. There are no other mods than those that I already listed. Thank you. Quote

slowpokebanshee Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 28:1 ? what type oil? I think with your setup....not to include any portwork you may or may not have, I would start out at 280 mains w/stock pilots, needle in the middle...and do a plug chop... to see what is going on....I run T-5 pipes with clamp on filters at 50:1 redline oil and 87 octane fuel on a stock bike.....27.5 pilots, stock needle, and 280 mains, I am running a little on the rich side. at sea-level...remember lean is mean, and rich lasts for-ever./...
