sanddevil111 Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 anybody think or know that these wheels are as light as they say. Just wonderin if i should get some. Quote
FireHead Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 (edited) If you are just running just the Hi-per wheels they aren't any lighter than aluminum, but they are much stiffer and stonger. They can be much lighter if you buy the wheels with the integrated hubs in them. Edited November 29, 2004 by FireHead Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 they are heavier than aluminum wheels. if ur lookin for lightweight wheels stay away from them. what kinda riding you want them for? Quote
racer Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 they are heavier than standard aluminum wheels. but they lighter than aluminum beadlocks. so if you want BL's go with those. plus they look cool as fuck. Quote

Proquad101 Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I've had a set on my banshee for awhile and I think they are well worth the money. No they are not lighter than a stock rim but they are lighter than a dual bead lock aluminum rim. I also like the fact that you can buy the different peices for with out having to buy a whole new rim. I have never broke one of these rims before but I have had to order new bead lock rings. Quote
