Has anyone on here serviced there own shocks?? I have a set of works dual rate shocks. They need to have the oil changed. I took the whole shock apart and cleaned everything up. Now is there anywhere I can buy the oil and do this myself? I know I will need to have the shocks charged but I know a person that can do that. I am mainly looking for somewhere to get service parts for these shocks.

I was very surprised how simple these shocks are??!!. Not much to the piston. I think if I could find a list of service parts I could do the work myself and probably revalve it.

Any thoughts??

Call Works 818-701-1010, ask for Oscar at extension 20 or someone else in service. They can mail ya rebuild instructions and a parts sheet, haven't looked at mine lately but it should tell you what you need to do to revalve it. If you've got access to the nitrogen and the appropriate valve, all you need is the oil itself (not sure the spec on it tho), and seals if necessary, those you can either get from Works or try to match up at a local bearing store. Good luck.
