WHat do i need to convert a twist to thumb? I dotn have a thumb throttle yet but i looked on ebay and they are all weird looking plugs, i guess for TORS? But the twist has the cables directly to the carbs to open em up...Can anyone help me?

all you need is adifferent throttle cable,and it hooks up the same way. its not a hard job at all.

I'd stick with the thumb throttle. Have you ever tried hammering through the whoops with a twist throttle? Dirtbikes don't count..the ass end on a bike doesn't get all squirrely like an ATV..especialy when your not perpendicular to the face of the whoops.

sure it does, a quad stays planted better provided the shocks setup decent......go with the twist....

I put 34mm carbs on my bike an ordered a twist throttle on accident. I ended up putting a thumb throttle back on. I had to order another throttle cable to work with the thumb throttle. I ordered it from http://www.terrycable.com/

 

I find that you fight the front end more when riding hard on an ATV than a dirt bike. That is why a thumb throttle is better on a ATV. B)
