I have a -1 lonestar swinger that I will be installing soon. I was thinking last night that since the swinger is shorter then the rear shock will sit closer and more upright. If this is true then this should raise the rear up bit shouldn't it? Also I know their are many topics about front yfz 450 shocks but my question is how much higher will they make the front end sit and if they do sit higher then how would it ride with the shee sitting higher?

The -1 may make it sit a lil higher, a bit of which will be due to that the rear shock won't sag as much with less leverage (shorter swingarm) working on it. If its sitting higher, it'll also be tippier due to the higher center of gravity.

I agree, but you should be able to adjust the rear ride height back to where it was with the stock swingarm by adjusting the preload on the rear shock.
