I have the standard set, and I have 2 sets of ultra light grips. They weight almost half of what my standard grips weigh.

KJ_S
Call up Alba they will hook ya up. 281504 Yes he does build some quality stuff. I want something that my hand won't be slipping off the handlebars when I am racing at night. I like the RIS Designs one that has the lines over lines on them, my buddy has some of them. Do you realize how much we pay for parts these days? Think about $75 just for some hand grips. lol

Do you realize how much we pay for parts these days? Think about $75 just for some hand grips. lol 281867 One thing to think about, is I put 25 1/2" holes in those grips,( about 3x that many on my Ultra Light Weight Grips) my hands never slip, and one good testament is Nyuk uses them on his drag bike. The holes allow your gloves to squeeze into them. I thought about making the waffle pattern grips, but people said they were worried that they would cut up their gloves pretty quick, and thats what I thought. I could knurl a set, but since some brands of fat bars have a larger left hand side (diametrical difference than the right of about .050) I have to rebore them for those bars. If I chuck up on a knurled surface, it smashes the knurls, rendering the useless. Too much hassle on my part.
banshee04le
I have Stan's DDI billet grips also and I can guarantee that as long as you have gloves on, your hands will not slip. Grip factor is great. I don't remember how much they were but it was well worth it. You'll go through 10 pair of rubber grips before you wear these out and the bling factor is off the hook. banshee04le
Obviously whoever is interested in them (like the guy who started this thread) is after the bling factor...thats what the billet grips are about. I'm just stating that they are also functional.
frocashmoney24
maybe the pro's dont use them since he owns a small company that has just recently gotten its name out

Bling factor may be off the hook but why dont pros use them? You decide. haha what?? what kinda pros? pro drag racers? pro mxers? billet grips arent for mxers. they are for ppl who want some bling and something different. why you so against stan's products? do you own any of his stuff? i would much rather spend my money with a stand up guy like stan than some worthless non atv riding fucker from alba. ive bought countless items from stan and he has always been excellent to deal with and he will go waaaay out of his way to make his customers happy. can you say that about your precious alba? do you even know anyone at alba by name like we know stan by name? them guys at alba couldnt give a fuckin shit less about some individual fucker wantin parts. they just put the wood to you with no lube. stan on the other hand will not fuck you around or sell you shitty parts at an extremely outrageous price. take your alba lovin ass somewhere else. I'm not going to wear gloves I'm sorry. If I do get some from you can you cut them in like some lines or something neat. I am going to buy some from RIS Designs if I dont get any from you.
