I think most people are running 18's or 20's. I have some Holeshot 18's and they suck. Too damn low to the ground and they just spin like crazy. I've been looking at the 22" Maxxis Suretrak. Looks like a good all around tire.

i would try out some kenda klaws. they make them in a 20x11x9. if it were me i wouldnt go to a 22 inch tire but thats just me. if you do youll prolly wanna gear it down some becase that extra 2 inches is gonna affect your gear ratio and speeds.i had some razors on my old predator and they wore quick. maybe some of those new itp holeshot hds?? they look like they can take some abuse.

I would definitely go with a taller tire like a 22x11x9. I run GBC Dirt Devils and they are awesome for trails / mud, etc...I have excellent clearance over most obstacles and they grab really good in any trail-like terrain. They spin just enough so you don't flip over on a hard launch too :headbang: If you go with the bigger tire, definitely gear it down like loco said; maybe a 13 or possibly a 12 depending on how you like it...compensates nicely for the size difference in tires.

Here is a pic of what they look like

If you want to spend about 150 or so on tires or if your willing to spend 150 then I would suggest taking your swingarm and having it shortened by quicksand motorsports. He will do it for 140. Now I know that I have never ridden a banshee with a -2 inch swingarm but all that people who recomend definitely know what they are talking about. I just bought a chrome lonestar swinger off ebay for 350 and that is 1" shorter. Once Install I know that it will hook up better. People say they handle like an indy car too. The closer the wheels are to the engine the better the hook up. With the money you'll spend on those tires I would get my swingarm shortened. But if your heart is set on tires then I would suggest no bigger than a 21" and I would go with kenda klaws or possibly holeshots xct's or xcr's. Thats my .02

It depends on what gearing you have now. If you have stock 14 tooth then I wouldn't go any bigger than 21MAX. If you have 13 then you might be able to pull like a 22 but whats the real difference if you drop sprocket size but go up in tire size. Go to bluetraxx.com and check out the calculations icon and go to gear ratio. Put your top speed up their and make sure its accurate. Then it will ask for your current gearing and what you plan to go up or go down to. Then it will calculate how much difference it would be. It will also calculate tire size and how much difference and inch makes. But again I can't stress enough how much a -1 or -2 inch swingarm will make a difference and it will be better for many reasons. Sredish and Banchetta and many others told me that a stock banshee vs a stock banshee with a -2 inch swingarm in a drag race then the -2 swingarm banshee will stomp the other anyday of the week and twice on sunday. Not because it is faster but because you hook up so much better. They told me that it would be as much as maybe about 3-5 bike lengths off the line difference.
