johnautobus Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I bought a 2000 used banshee the other day,but it has a buzzing noise when it runs. It sounds like a rotating constant low pitch noise . It does not change pulling in clutch. It does not seem to be a rattle noise like the kick starter or pipes. Could it be a crank bearing or something in the clutch, water pump. Any thoughts would be helpful. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I've had a buzzing noise in my banshee since the day we put it together Nothing seems to be wrong with it after 2 years of riding...I'd say as long as all works and everything is tight just ride it. It would suck to tear it all apart and find nothing wrong Quote
tats4life Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 sounds like a water impellor to me.....mind did it until i used a pro design impellor and cover. Quote
