My plastic has been through a roll over before I got it. The blue has white color where it was bent. Is there any way to bring the color back in the white spots? Heat gun or torch? What causes the color to change to white?

I need some help on where to start on jetting a 35 mm 2 into 1 carb setup. stock motor with fmf pipes pro-design filter(no lid), I have alot of blue smoke at mid throttle on compression. I have 195 main, 52 pilot and needle in middle. ride at sea level on 92 octane

Could someone explain what boost ports do for making a banshee run harder? What is the theory behind? Does it lean out the mixture or reduce lube to bottom end?

trying to build a banshee from parts. My cdi box pigtail does not fit wiring harness. How many different configurations are there? My cdi box has flat blades and wiring harness has round pins.Is there a adaptor available?

Having trouble getting banshee to start first time each day. It takes 15-20 kicks to start. After once starts seems to start ok. Also seems to make popping noise on deceleration. otherwise it runs fine. . . Could I have a crankseal leak or base gasket problem causing a lean condition? I have tried rejetting, changed timing on dyna-ignition but problem still there. changed coil,plugs. compression 160 psi,jets 310,32.5,120 octane. sea level, t-5 ,lid off. does anyone have some suggestions.

I bought a 2000 used banshee the other day,but it has a buzzing noise when it runs. It sounds like a rotating constant low pitch noise . It does not change pulling in clutch. It does not seem to be a rattle noise like the kick starter or pipes. Could it be a crank bearing or something in the clutch, water pump. Any thoughts would be helpful.

My stock cdi box went south so I bought a dyna fs box. I installed it and banshee runs. Problem is that motor will not idle and misfires at high rpm. Could the new cdi box be letting the motor rev higher? The directions say to rejet to bigger. I went up three sizes and back to 1 bigger and I still have the misfire at wide open. I borrowed a stock cdi box and it idles good but motor misfires off low rpm. Higher rpm seems better. does any have had experience with changing over to dyna.. What does a person have to do to make motor run right. I think the idea is good to change timing but I am growing tired that banshee would perform. Help would be appreciated.

Could someone explain what a 12 port is and how do they get their. What is the advantage ?of this? How does this compare with a variable exhaust port setup like ESR 409 .

It acts like rich and won't rev up. Plugs dark and wet.It was not this way before

After riding the other day a friend went to clean up his shee and removed clamp -on filters and put in plugs to prevent water getting in carbs. After washing shee off he forget to remove carb plugs and kicked it over trying to start it. After it did not start he remembered what he had done. He then put in new spark plugs and it started. The next time he went to the dunes to ride, the motor won't run right. Runs really bad. Changed plugs again. Still runs bad. Could he have done some damage when he kicked it over with the plugs in the carbs? I did not think that would hurt anything. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Crank seal, reeds?

could someone explain how to test the stator while still in the shee? I have no spark, so I want to decide if the stator is putting out anything to the cdi box. I know the pickup ciol is ok. I dont know about the coil, but I wanted to start at the begining.. Help would be appreciated.

Could soneone explain how to polish the right clutch side cover on a banshee or do you just bite the bullet and buy one that is billet.

Has anyone had experience trying to set up their own ignition curves with the dyna fs software and a computer? What do you need besides the cdi box?

I could not get shee to run,so after checking stator I borrowed a cdi box and now it runs. What should I buy now that I found the problem? Is a dyna box going to give any extra power or is there something else out there? what is your opinion since I have to buy something? A new oem is probably expensive! I have t-5,lighten flywheel,bored carbs,v-force reeds,mild porting for dunes, 140 compression with 19cc coolhead domes, 4 degrees timing adv. 120 race fuel , sea level,air pods,pro-lite pistons.

I went out to start shee and it started and ran about 30 seconds and stopped I pulled plugs and checked for spark. No spark. Could someone give me a procedure to start through to figure out what is wrong? Like ohm the stator !

When I check my plugs they look different. Left one is black and the right one is tan /brown on the porcelean. compression is same on both and shee runs fine, but plugs indicate something different going on in the combustion chamber. Any ideas would be appreciated. Probably time to inspect and rering any away, but I would like some thoughts before I go in.

I would like some opinions on which big bore setup to buy. Cheetah,trex,superior sleeve etc. Could someone gives some ideas on this subject? I want a 500cc with dependablity and runs on race fuel. No alcohol. Thanks

What are the different companies that build a mono cylinder with more horsepower. I have heard of t-rex setup. I want 500 cc with maybe 100-125hp. Could you make some suggestions on who to talk to. Who do you like best ? Who has the best bang for the buck?I do not want to run alcohol. 120 race gas is fine. Have you heard of Charlie Brown in Oregon, He custom builds mono cylinder

someone awhile back had a solution to the right carb running lean because the petcock is a single line . Is there a modification or something off a road bike that fits into the current tank that would give me a dual feed . (one fuel line direct from tank to each carb) Please list part number or someone who sells a dual feed.Thanks.

The other day we were riding in the dunes at sea level and my buddy was drag racing someone and put a hole in the left piston and started to burn one in the right one. The hole is in the middle of the dome right under the spark plug. I understand that to be a denotation problem vs too lean condition. we think he may have ran out of gas during the end of the race.Could out of fuel cause this to happen. He was using 106 fuel, 310 mains ,no timing advance, stock carbs t-5,two single air pods,full race port, full throttle 6 gear. Please give us your opinion!

could someone give me a jet size to start out with for a trinity 2 int 1 setup. Motor is stock with fmf pipes. Ride at sea level in dunes. carb now has 180 main , 62 pilot, air screw out 1 3/4, needle del on 2 from top groove.Is this even close? I want to take some jets with me so I can set it up at the dunes. Please help if anyone has done this. k and n filter with outwear. Wiseco pistons ,1 st oversize.
