However I joined this site to hopefully get some tips on making my banshee better than what it is. First off, When my dad was riding my bike he burnt his riding pants on my pipes. (damnit!) anyway how would I go abouts cleaning that off? I got my pipes off completly as of now. any suggestions? -thanks Jeremy Quote

chris642 Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 i had rubber on my stinger pipe from one of the wire holder things by the airbox so i put a flame to it( a candle) and got a plastic card( like a credit card, but dont plan on using it again after you do this) and scraped it off. worked for me Quote
banshee76179 Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 Heat the pipes up a little get a S.O.S steel wool soap pad and scrubb away then use some mothers chrome polish to clean up real good... And welcome to the HQ... Quote
