locogato11283 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 aftermarket swinger and a arms. suspension all around. that would make it much more race ready. have you ever checked out blasterhq.com? that site may suit your needs better. Quote
Wassup350 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 (edited) Definitely what loco said. Blasters could be made into potent motocrossers. that seems to be the biggest problem witht them is that they are so short and narrow that they tip really easy. They are also way too small for guys around 6 feet. I'd also get it ported and have the head milled and some V-force reeds really wake up the blasters I dont know what kinda racing your into but i think any atva race requires that you have nerfbars and a teather switch so unless you get them it will be everythign but race ready. Also get an aftermarket air filter system to protect that engine. If you're on tight budget check your wheels to see how much they are offset. you could probably flip them around and get quite a bit of width depending on your offset. Just make sure the valvestem dont hit the calipers on the front. Also keep in mind that doing this will make the rims easier to bend so just think about it before you do this. There is so many things you can improve on the blaster so just you pick from our suggestions what you think you need first. Best way to find out is find stuff you dont like about it. Dont just start buying stuff because we suggested it find out what you want to improve and improve it. Edited October 20, 2004 by Wassup350 Quote
