gas milage?

ok , i plan on going up to windrock, TN in the next couple of weekends . i was wandering how long my shee would last on a tank of gas , constant riding of trails .

 

MODS:toomey T-5s and silencers , timing advance , bored carbs , k&n clamp ons , bored 80 over with wisecos , boost bottle , and high output stator .

 

will it go a whole day of riding without filling up ?thanks in advance , and sorry i havent been around much , been busy with other projects .

at most, you'll only get a few hours of hard riding in before running out of gas. banshee's are thirsty beasts to say the least.

take lotsa gas. you can always too little, but you can never have too much. for a dune trip i take 13.2 gallons. 2 full 5 gals. and a full tank. i always have left over gas but we drink a lot of berr in between.

I wouldn't plan on more than 35mile without a spare gas can. 99rr

I have quite a few mods on my bike, and I can get pretty good mileage on my shee. I don't run it wide open alot though because I'm geared so high. I do alot of open road driving, too. I wouldn't plan on going too far without extra gas. A small 6 litre jug will fit right on your wheelie bar.

I do alot of WOT running up roads and I can get about 40 miles of road running on a full tank but Im talking reserve and all. and I have 370 mains in... hope this helps!!

thanks for the input guys . i think im gonna try and mount a gas can on the grab bar . i dont think will ride for more then 2-3 hours at a time , expecily me being on a shee , ill be pretty worn out .
