I recentally purchased a 2001 400ex, I have no idea if it's stock or not <_< . I was wondering if there is such thing as a rev unlimiter, if so how do I tell if it has one? I have had many people tell me it's real and many telling me that there is no such thing. Can you guys help me out on this? :(

never heard of a rev unlimiter ....but the stock ones have rev limiters

Yeah my friends say that a unlimiter gives you more power and makes it easier to blow up

It's an aftermarket CDI that replaces the stock one. Gives ya an extra 1000 RPMs over stock. You'll know if u have one...

all the people and builders around here will tell yah it's a waste of time. they don't give any extra power

If you've ever riden an EX without and with one... you wouldnt be saying that.

Duner- on the stock EX(OE CDI box) it feels the like the engines cutting out way to early. the aftemarket box gives ya a little more up top.

It's kinda like a banshee with stock pipes Vs. one with aftermarket pipes...
