Ultimateduner Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 I recentally purchased a 2001 400ex, I have no idea if it's stock or not . I was wondering if there is such thing as a rev unlimiter, if so how do I tell if it has one? I have had many people tell me it's real and many telling me that there is no such thing. Can you guys help me out on this? Quote
Banshee~ Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 never heard of a rev unlimiter ....but the stock ones have rev limiters Quote

Otis Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 (edited) It's an aftermarket CDI that replaces the stock one. Gives ya an extra 1000 RPMs over stock. You'll know if u have one... Edited September 26, 2004 by Otis Quote
hamuel Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 all the people and builders around here will tell yah it's a waste of time. they don't give any extra power Quote

Duner- on the stock EX(OE CDI box) it feels the like the engines cutting out way to early. the aftemarket box gives ya a little more up top. It's kinda like a banshee with stock pipes Vs. one with aftermarket pipes... Quote
