sredish Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 I'm very new to making vid files. My mac naturally makes everything a .mov file. Is there a program that will convert it to .mpeg, and is there an advantage to this? Will the .mpeg's be smaller than the .mov or is there no real need for this conversion. Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 i think the .mov file will be too big to download to like imagestation or other hosting site. i think i read somewhere that .mpeg videos are what you want to send in emails and use to host on sites. a video editing program should let you save it to whatever kind of file you want. i know mine does and its just a cheap program that came with my canon digital camera.
