Hello all, im 15, almost 16, and i heard the draft is being reinstated. Im not worried about going over, im not gonna those pussies thats gonna go to canada, or w/e... i want to join the airforce. But i was woundering if it tru....Or what people have heard...

 

And if it is tru, i thinks it b/s, i dont even know why where there, i dont wanna turn this into one of those do u support the war, just wanna know bout the draft.

When you are 16-17 you hear that the draft is coming back......

 

When you are 18 you hear that Canada is changing their drinking age from 19 to 21......

First off you aren't old enough to get drafted.

Second, you would hear about it on the news.

 

Third, if you were drafted today, I highly doubt you would see battle for almost a year, maybe longer. It takes time to train. The military doesn't take people in, then stand them up somewhere with a gun and a helmet and tell them "Good luck"

 

When people were signing up after 9/11 the news reported those people were hoping to go to Afghanistan to kill members of the Taliban. They then said that most of them would never see Afghanistan, and those that did would see it 5 years or more after they signed up.

Yeah a draft, the US Air Force is trying to GET RID of 16,000 people right now! Either by early retirement, seperation, or crossing over to the ARMY! its crazy, im glad i reenlisted 2 years ago, or i wouldnt have a job right now!

I wish like hell they would start a draft. I get tired of hearing people bitch about how America is fucked up. I think you should earn your freedom! Then you would have a right to complain. Im going to have to go into the military to pay for collage.....or else i gotta do tha crab fishing up in the bearing sea, where u can make up to 50,000 dollers in 5 days....i think its worth it
