Maverick302 Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 I found a loophole in the law. Those faggio scooter things that are street legal don't require a license if theyre under 50cc. Them things are pretty damn fun too. I'll get one just for temporary transportation. As long as I don't do anything real stupid and get caught, cops will rather go finish theyre donuts than take me to court and argue. Hell, I got $500 layin around somewhere, i'll see what I can scrape up to get one. Quote
evil Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 pocket bikes are under 50cc's but are still illegal to run on the street, find me a loophole on that law so i can run it ! Quote

Ducman Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 In CA the really small ones are illegal on the street but the larger ones are legal, I'm not to sure how to determine which ones are or aren't, I think 50cc up is leagal, basically considered a scooter like a moped and ridding restrictions are similar to a moped or so I've been told. I'm not too sure, but I don't think there is a registration required. Quote
decon Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 (edited) gopeds are legal in ca to. alot of people ride those, they are pretty cheap, the gas ones. Edited August 26, 2004 by dEcon Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 NY does suck for alot of these laws, but catch this, i cant ride a moped i have on the streets, but i have a 3 wheel golf cart, and goes under 30 so it qualifies as a moped, i dont need a license registration or a helmet and i can ride it on the road?? aint that a head scratcher Quote
