just getting my frame gusseted but what gauge metal did you use???

i would go 16 or around there, thats pretty heavy stuff but it wont be like filling the frame with lead heavy.

if i did mine i would use 1/8 or inbetween 1/8 and 1/16. what ever gauge that is.

13ga is .095" inch so thats right between 1/8 and 1/16

what are you gusseting? you might need to use different thicknesses.

I used damn near 1/4" steel on mine. It didn't add much weight with all I cut off, but it's definately not going anywhere... Here's some pics of where I did mine...sorry for the HUGE pics,...but they're good in detail & you can see the sparkly in my new paint...

I find the majority of stress cracks are located at the shock mount brackets and the foot peg mounts.
