I don't have a clue what size pilot is in my banshee. I haven't really cared since it always starts easy. My banshee used to pull really weak right before you got on the pipe but with the screws all the way in, it pulls alot stronger. I am currently running 420 mains, needles on the second clip from the blunt end, and who knows what the pilot size is. I am running a ported 350 with fmf gold series pipes and a k&n with no lid. It pulls great at all throttle positions now and the plugs look dark brown at wfo. Basically I need a smaller pilot right?

It wouldn't hurt to try a smaller one.I would do a plug chop at WOT and see how they look.I think 420 mains

seem a bit big for the mods you have listed, but I never delt with a ported motor so maybe someone who has will post.

It sounds like you might be rich on the needles also.

I would try a 27.5 or 30 pilot and move the needle position to the 3rd from the blunt end.

Although, when you move the clip on your needle, you may need to come down on your mains.

If it likes the air screws all the way in then your richening the mixture, which means you might want a larger pilot and readjust the air screws...

What Banchetta said, and if your plugs are too dark at WOT then you probably need to go down on the main size. 420 mains sound very large for most ported moters.
