stevo3176
I have a banshee cylinder that has a small piece chipped off on the bottom of the intake port. Is that a big deal. It is small like a quarter of a dime sized chip. If you get that...
Screamin_Banshee
If the rings go near it its a problem. I would look into a sleeve if its questionable, I would rather have to pay then have the engine blow, and risking breaking other parts. Shee_Man
how much is it to resleeve cylinders anyways? by doing it that it's like they're brand new on stock bore? Or is it more worthwhile to get new cylinders or upgraded one (ported or bored).
Master of Faster
Same thing happened to one of my cylinders when the aluminum on the piston between the rings broke on the intake side. Took a chunk out of the sleeve on the bottom of an intake port. Probly about the same size as yours as you describe it. Cleaned it up a bit with a porting tool and no problem since. Would have to see at least a picture of yours though to tell for sure.
