hey guys sorry for this, first off i do have a banshee and we are taking it to the dunes but, i also have a 1999 yz 125 and i wanna put paddles on it for the dunes, has any one done this with a 125, the guys at the stupid shop in wetaskwin said i would fry my motor is this true, and has some one done this before

I have herd the same thing unless you are a little guy, you need a 250 or bigger to run a paddle in the sand. It has alot of drag and will overheat the motor quick.

thats bullshit. if your around 180 or less youll be koo. shit when i was like 120 i rode my old YZ 80 in the dunes of Mother Glamis and it did just fine. you just have to haul ass. and yeah get an 8 paddle and ittl be cool. you need to be smart when riding a smaller engine in the dunes. you will be shifting constantly or else the engine will sieze. but thats common sense. have fun!

the shop where i got my sandstars. said the same thing about me putting them on my shee. because itp said the tires should only be used on a 400cc or above bike. sales people some time don't got a clue what there talking about

one thing I've found out with riding a dirt bike on the sadn is that you will also want to let a little bit of air out of the front tire, helps with turning, and you stay on top of the sand..
