racer Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 (edited) just run the bling 10's. they look way cool. Edited August 15, 2004 by therail Quote
97redshee Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 the 8's give you more floatation and when aired down you get more contact on the surface of the sand. Quote
sredish Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 the flotation theory is a good way to look. i also look at it like does more rim, less tire weigh more or more tire, less rim. Really, I don't think it matters too much because the differences are so minute that it's probably not noticeable. My paddles are mounted on 10" Black Labels. I like the look of a 10" paddle/tire combo better, personally. Quote
hamuel Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 how can a smaller rim make the tires float better? Quote
sredish Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 how can a smaller rim make the tires float better? Taller sidewalls mean more surface area on the ground when aired down, but in this case, most paddles tires are so stiff that you could have no air in them and they'll still be upright. Quote
theeechozen1 Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 if you cant decide run 9's, its a happy medium Quote
