johnautobus Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Has anyone seen a Banshee with a electric starter? Is anyone like goki making a kit? Quote
racer Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 ive never seen one. just seems like somethin else to break or add weight to your quad Quote
98bonerSTOCKshee Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 huh? the shee's nearly kick themselves.. Quote
Meat Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 you'd need a battery, a better stator, a starter motor and a lot wiring pateince. Its not worth it. The banshee's compression ratio is so low that once she's warmed up I can start mine without even lifting my ass off the seat. Quote
Aussie Quad Racer Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 i could not think of anything more sillier than putting an elec start on your banshee Quote

Depending on the day I think I can start mine cold with out getting up off the seat. BUT...lol...don't flood the bastard. Be prepared for about 50 or more to clear it out. Quote
decon Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 my friend used to have two banshees. the place he got it from put on custom starters for him. all he had to do was kick it once, and then twist the left handlebar and it would start right up. he sold his banshees though, moving reasons. i dont remeber the place he got it done from, but they were some pretty tight custom starters. I love it.. My bro has a atc350x they were all kickers, he's gotta get me to kick the bastard for him, after a few kicks on that beast I go to kick the 'shee and damn near break off the kicker! Quote
