wv banshee Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 you say it smokeing really bad if so tour crank seal may be bad between the clutch side and inter crank are this will let the clut-tranny oil get in to you motor and will make bad day i rebuild one last year like that hoep this helps if not e-maile me at [email protected] i work on lot of shees Quote
BansheeKid265 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Check your air filter, make sure you're jetted right, reeds could do it, as well as low compression, too rich of an oil mixture can also do it. You have to keep in the power band too, if you rode a 4-stroke before a banshee is a big difference. You have to ride it different. Hope i helped. Quote
pimpeinkc Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 i had a buddy who bought a used banshee, and it smoked kind of like you are saying. come to find out the previous owner had to much oil in the mix and it collected in the canister/expansion chamber. try pulling one off and checking it, use the oven cleaner on them like posted in one of the other forums Quote
