bansheeroller Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 After cracking my frame for the third time in the same place I bought a used frame off E-bay. I'm now trying to figure out where the two bolts on the sides of the radiator bolt to. I scrapped the old frame and I can't find any pictures of how this thing bolts on. It looks to me like there should be a bracket between the rad and frame but I was looking at a parts diagram and it does not show any brackets Quote
Lepew Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 The two bolts on the side of the radiator go to a braket on either side that also the front plastic bolts to. To bad you scrapped the frame, there always worth something even as pieces. Quote
bansheeroller Posted July 25, 2004 Author Report Posted July 25, 2004 That's what I thought! I guess I'll have to look somewhere for a used set. I kept tripping over that old junk frame so I cut it up and put it out with the garbage Quote
Noob Banshee Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 did you weld it ? you know that when you get a crack in metal you have to drill a hole right where it ends, other wise it will keep cracking and you have to re weld it over and over. how do i know this im a welder so you might wanna keep that frame!! and try that.
