I mean how hard is it to take a right, another right, then a left to the first house on a dirt road!!!!!!!!! UPS has no problem, EVEN Airbourne Express has no problem. I mean How can they not Find the place if they were there 2 weeks ago. Its not that hard Quote

Cotton eyed Joe Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 Does your "route" have a regular driver? My shop has a regular driver or 2 that delivers in my area 2 or 3 times per day! We haven't had a shipper yet that had a problem. Are they out your way often?? Is the driver new? If you have problems, seriously, contact the shipper in your area. The last thing they want is someone pissed off at them because a package is lost. It might just solve the issue, or, they will just start losing your packages on purpose, and tossing them in a ditch along the way. Quote

I know FedEX only comes out to my area only when Im ordering something about once a month...ordering billet for the shee . The worst part is, I have to call them every time they don't find my house and give them directions. I wish they wouldn't hire retards that can't read a map. Quote

If anyone ever watches a next day air package in transit it wont go straight there...often the complete opposite direction. Shipping from Michigan to Maine my package first went to kentucky.. I know with Fed EX, they ship EVERYTHING that is next day air to the main hub in Memphis TN. I know a guy that worked in the area doing some software engineering and somehow he ended up seeing the whole operation. After it hits Memphis, then its routed to its destination or somewhere close. Its an amazing operation being that I get next day air packages from a company 3 miles away. Mostly bid packages with prints and tech data in them, and the reason they ship them is to prove that it wasn't hand delivered and lost on the way etc...they use "controlled" prints being they are a government entity. To think that that package in my hand didn't travel 3 miles...but closer to 3000 in about 24 hours. Quote
