frocashmoney24 Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 i wouldent think so, but i'd stick to keeping the right one on the right one Quote
nickxc Posted July 6, 2004 Author Report Posted July 6, 2004 I dont know which one came off which side. I didn't find a pic of it in my clymer or anythign that really tells me. anyone wanna look at their shees for me and tell me which plug cap you have on which side?? Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 if you switch them your banshee will fire on the wrong order meaning 6 gears of reverse..... jk. i dont think it matters, but id keep them on the same deal. if all else fails, try them both and see which way runs better. Quote
Bigairee Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 It doesn't matter which one goes where. Quote
DIRTBIKEZ Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 It doesn't matter which one goes where. Thats correct, they both fire at the same time, you can switch them and it will not make a difference. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 It doesn't matter which one goes where. The reason why (for those that may not know) is they both come off of one coil, and there is only one pick up on the fly wheel. You would need a distributor or a crank triggered ignition with different lugs for firing the appropriate cylinder. Its just easier to fire them both every 180 degrees of crank rotation. Quote
BdBanshee Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 If you want to put it back on the way it was, take the longest plug wire and connect it to the left side plug(if you were sitting on it) and the shorter wire on the right side. Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 Yes it's very bad. Egon said crossing the streams was bad!!!!!! Quote
