I got 280 mains and 30 pilots and im not sure where to put the clip for the need. my mods are 2 into 1 pipe and k&n filter. please help i hope to go riding sunday and need her running good again. I once spent weeks jetting my 28mm pwk's when I first installed them. Adjusting and tweaking until I got her running crisp a a fresh can of pringles. Quote
hillcrazedbanshee Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 the 30 pilots seem kind of fat. Drop them a size. You may be a little rich on the main but you are probably drowning it from idle to 1/4 throttle. Quote

You may be a little rich on the main but you are probably drowning it from idle to 1/4 throttle. i agree. run some 27.5 pilots. have you checked your plugs? you needto find out whether you are lean or rich. first thing id do is lower the pilot. see how it runs and check the plugs. then adjust the main and needle accordingly.
