Do you know what you are checking for? Check for ACV from the pulser and from the source excitor going into the box and see what ya get while kicking the bike over

Only a few reasons that it would keep frying them. If you have everything hooked up right than all I can really think of causing it would be a weak spark or no spark. Is the cushion that it mounts to still there. Maybe vibration.

new stator is puttin out good power when kicked over . the cdi bolts directly to frame never had any mounts? when it was running the spark was a strong blue...

You stated that you installed a new coil. Brand new or buddy, ebay new. Anyway you can't get a correct reading on the coil doing it yourself with and ohm meter. You have to take that to the dealership and let'em check it.

I had no spark, checked coil first and the ohm readings stated nothing. So I thought I had a bad coil, I was wrong. A couple of members here said that I could not get a correct reading to take it to a dealership. Sure enough I took it in and shee worked fine, even though the ohm readings stated that the coil was dead. Coils seldom, seldom go out. Your readings could state that your coil works fine and it actually doesn't work fine at all.

Do you still have TORS??? <_<

If it's not already, disconnect the little black TORS module that is mounted

on the left frame tube just in front of the gas tank and try it. If not that,

and all cdi wiring checks good (not open or shorted to ground), I'd try a new

trigger module which is on the timing plate and picks up a magnetic pulse

from the flywheel. The flywheel can also lose its magnetism if it has been

beat on in an attempt to remove.

thanks for all the help guys. the stator is a brand new ricky stator, the TORS bullshit is all reemoved the little black box is gone. like i said before the stator is putting out good power. i just dont know what to think all the grounds check out good the coil im sure is fine because its brand new (maybe 4 hours on it) im just confused because it did the exact same thing before and it turned out to be the cdi (after i replaced the stator & coil). is it common for cdi"s to go out? if not could a short someplace in the wiring harness cause the cdi to shit on me? i had it into a local repair shop and they tor it apart compleatly and said everything checks out and that it was for sure the cdi. thats when i replaced it and it ran great, then it shit again if anyone has a cdi they arnt using let me know ....thanxa ton guys.
