Sand Mountain

Hey guys, I am heading to sand mountain in Nevada for July 3rd, and 4th. I was going to see if anyone else is going to go. It should be a good time.

 

I have a 01 banshee that I just got, have rode in the sand with it once, so I am looking forward to putting some miles on it there.

I was thinking about going up but I thought it would be too hot so I decided on Winchester bay in Oregon. how hot does it grt up in nevada on the 4th?

its gonna be freaking hot...you would think that is a good thing more girls topless but the fuckin blm is all over that...Im thinkin about going..but havent made up my mind yet..would be fun though

Yea I wanted to go to winchester but I dont have a hush kit or spark arrestor, how strict are they there? I don't need the ticket.

 

It shouldn't be too hot in Nevada. Maybe like 88.

Oregon is as strict as CA....except in CA you need a helmet.

 

So yes you will want to get the arrestors....wether you need them or not....depends on if you get pulled over.....

 

Oh and sand mountain, NV this time of year is 80 in the morning and night....and 110 during the day.....

 

You can go....but youll only be riding in the morn and at night.

 

Yup the BLM is really craking down out there at Sand Mountain,NV. Just two years ago you barely saw them out there.....

 

Now you have to pay to ride....and you might get popped with a ticket if your not wearing a helmet or you dont have a flag on your ride....

 

I hate getting tickets....takes away from bling blingin my ride.....
