Hey guys, I know it aint a banshee, But my buddy has a craptor that I am going to help him Jet for his new pipe and k&n. I dont need help with the jetting but I was just wondering why every one recomends (for a yoshi) two different jet sizes? They all say 155 for left carb and 160 for right carb. Any body know why?

Like I said, I know its not a banshee but I would way rather ask this ? over here than at the other place. You all know who I'm talking bout to.

the only way to jet a craptor is to find a really steep hill. get the craptor up to top speed and then the rider must bail off right before he hits the edge of the hill. the craptor will JET off the side of the hill to its death. just leave it there and go buy a banshee.

I just went through this with a friend of mine, and this is what we found out.

The Raptor has a five valve head, 3 intake and 2 exhaust. The carb that takes the larger jetting actually feeds 2 of the intake ports while the carb that will get the smaller jetting only feeds 1 intake port. So basically more air going into the 2 intake carb needs more fuel.

I am suprise that there isn't more of a size difference between the jets. When we installed his exhaust there was like 3 sizes difference between the jetting on the carbs. I think it was like 175/160 for the jets.

hope this helps...

Oh by the way, when I was done helping him with his craptor, I had to wash thouroughly so the shee didn't smell four storke oil on me...LOL :jesterlaugh:

Thats one of the funniest things I've heard in a while loco. I'm gonna have to tell my bud that one, he'll get a kick out of that.
