I have 1990 Banshee that I purchased as "needs work". Having owned a few of these guys - I figured - compression, spark, fuel, air and go - NOPE!!! Not on this one. I had to re-connect all the wiring and when I finished it would only fire on the right side - the left side was dead cold and not firing at all - Checked spark and it was fair but might have been a little weak - so I switched out the coil from my other banshee to see if that might be it - nope still would only fire on the right - so i switched the cable - still no fire. Checked the carbs - in fact I switched those out too just to make sure and checked the reeds - still no fire. Took the filter out and sprayed fuel directly into the cold side while the right side was running and still no fire. Which lends me to believe it is a weak spark issue - but wouldn't I have got a good spark from switching the cable? BTW - Spark plugs are new - first thing I did and TORS is removed - no parking brake assembly. I am baffled by this one - I am getting ready to light one great big fire under the left side of this B@#CH - FRUSTRATED banghead

If you switch plug wires and the right side is still firing clean the pilot jet on the left side. Readjust the air screws so they are even. Make sure the choke tube is there. Make sure the carb is getting gas.

Unscrew your spark plug cap off the coil wire, clip it down just a C*nt hair and re-srcrew on the cap. May be a crappy connection...just a thought. ;)

Alao checking the Choke tube is a good suggestion also.

Choke tube is in place checked - re-checked. The carbs I pulled off a running banshee so i know for fact that they're clean and that they are getting plenty of fuel. The thing that has me baffled is that I replaced the coil with a 100% for sure working one from my other shee and still same problem. So - carbs are working properly for sure - coil is working properly for sure - plugs are good - could I have wired something wrong to cause the good spark right and weak spark left or is it a matter of spark or no spark concerning the wiring. Confused <_<
