Hello. This is "Sredish"'s wife. Just wanted to let you all know that your buddy was involved in a serious accident at Little Sahara this evening. He broke three ribs and has a collapsed lung. I'm not one of the "cool" wives who gets excited about "Shee's" and everything that goes with it. I just want to tell you guys something. Your moments of fun are hours of worry and anxiety for the rest of us. Most of you believe that you are Superman while riding these death machines and put your own enjoyment above the feelings of those of us who wish you had a safer hobby. The next time you guys hop on your machines for a little fun, just remember that everyone gets careless and accidents DO happen. Please say a prayer for my husband and maybe next time you ride wear your helmet and go a little slower. There are people who need you here with them.

PS - There really isn't a smilie available that portrays my emotions right now.

what happened? is he in the hospital?? whats going on? are you gonna keep us posted? you know its hard when something like this happens for the rest of us, but everyone cant just quit what they love doing. we know its dangerous and everything, so we must just take precautions and wear safety gear and such. i understand you dont condone riding, and thats fine. but try to keep an open mind about the things that people enjoy doing.

Yes he's in the hospital. After being taken to Alva hospital he had to be transferred to the nearest Trauma Unit in Enid and he should be arriving about now. I appreciate your concern and I just wanted his accident to make you guys stop and think that your entire world can change in the blink of an eye.

his world did not change it was just put on hold for a lil bit... he be back to normal and i'm sure he will ride safer and watch out for ppl more now.. like i said thou hope he gets better soon....

I'm totally helpless as I'm in Arizona visiting my parents for the weekend. I don't know what's going on and haven't heard anything for almost 3 hours now. I always tease him for posting on here so much (and really, over 1800 posts honey?? You guys are worse than a bunch of gossipy women.), so I'm sure he's going to be mad at me for saying what I said, but I really don't care right now. All I know is that he's going to be held overnight at the very least. I sure hope his little trip was worth it.

Damb that sucks. I just want to say that sredish is one of the most sincere and curtious guys on this forum and I guarentee that there isn't one person in here that has ever had anything bad to say about him. He is a very knowledgeable and helpful person and believe me, because of those 1800 posts there are hundreds of banshees that were running like crap and now rip due to his helpful advise.

Thanks for letting us know and I hope he recovers quickly and can post here again soon.

Thanks Zack

My wife recently had a co-worker get killed while playing softball. I had to liston for about an hour how it was dangerous. I will still play. I will still ride my banshee. If we live our lives scared of dying we will never have any fun. There is a risk in anything you do. All you can do is try to be as safe as possible and accept the risks. My life would really suck if I was scared of everything. I believe when it is your time to go there is nothing you can do about it. Until then enjoy your life.

He is in our prayers and I hope for a speedy recovery.
