I'm doing the exact same thing and they sent me the spacer head gasket kit like you have so I just took the gasket material off the top of the spacer so the head has a nice sealing serface and left the gasket on the bottom to mount on the cylinders.

Both of guys need to send Dave at Noss machine a pm. He can make you a spacer alot cheaper than anybody I have seen. I have been running a spacer he made for me awhile now with no problems. He can even make it as thick as you want to get your port timing where you want it to be.

795 series pistons just take care of the long rod issue. The spacer plate takes care of the stroke.

I am running a long rod stroker with a spacer below the cylinders and 795 pistons. I run standard domes.

If you send the pistons out the top and cut the domes for a 2mm recess instead of using a cylinder spacer plate, your port timing will be lower. Basically, it depends on what you are doing with the motor. I like the higher port timing for racing. Just suits me better.
