Outbid by 1 dollar...went for $61... Looks like I'll probably just have to fork out for new UPP ones... BTW, I have NEVER won anything on Ebay..I have 0 feedback! Thank you snipers! Quote
Banchetta Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I bet I can get your jetting very close....Fixitrods bike is the same motor w/ the same pipes, reeds, etc.....His jetting was pretty close to mine, so I'll hook you up closely.....I would have bidded in a larger increment for ebay at the last second...If it normally jumps up at 1.00, I would have bidded $5....In case someone bidded the same time as you, but you have the higher amount.... It was at 51 so I bid $60 and someone somehow snipped it up to 61 in the last few seconds this has happened to me every time I have bid on Ebay... If you bid $60 and the bid increments are $1, then Ebay will only make the proxy bid $1 higher than your bid to ensure the proxy bidder is the winner. It took me while to learn that, but it's part of the game. It's fair because it lets veryone cheat equally. broke Quote
