Yes you can use your stock shock. The thing you will need to do if you use the stock shock is to move the upper mount back and up about 1.5" to 1.75". If you dont do that it will not be strong enough. It's not really that hard to do, just weld some angle iron on your old mount and put some gussets on it to make it strong.

Low is not always better. If it is too low, it will slide too much.

 

I also run the AFCO. I believe my spring rate is around 380, but I am heavy. They are nice because the ride height is quickly adjustable.

 

Demsy, the stock shock is WAY to stiff.

track rules state no alcohol... but after the races im sure we can find sum... also the race this weekend is already rained out... so the same $$$ goes for the May 8th race... now u have 2 more weeks 2 get ur bike done and then come win sum of that $$$... L8r d34
