just wondering where u guys buy yer premix at and what ratio do u run it at??Im runnin yamalube right now at 32:1 and i dont think i like it, seems like ti fouls too easy.I wanna try Castor cuz ive heard good things about it on the HQ. Im lookin for it in places like canadian tire and wal-mart but have no luck... do places like partsource have them or any other automotive stores???

also what premix do u guys prefer???

I run Klotz R-50 40 to 1

 

Probably ok w/castor....

 

Any shop can get it 4 ya or u can order it online!

Rockey Mountain says $17+shipping for 64oz. my stealer wants $25+tax for the 64oz. You cann usually only get it from a motorcycle shop locally.

My local shop wants 6.99 for 16 oz

Better than my stealer,...try 8.99 here for 16oz banghead

 

I've always used castor927, never had any problems. Still stock topend & it looks brand new still. :) (knock on wood) I always mix 40:1. ;)

yea been runnin castor 927 for 2 years, pulled out my old pistons hwen i was doin a rebuild almost no carbon buildup, and it does smell damn good

I hear ya frocash,...since my shee's in pieces right now I have the motor on the work bench,...pulled the head off & took a look, stock pistons look 100%....well over 100 hours or better. Even looking in the exhaust ports the pistons look tits & no build-up! Pass that one along to anyone who says you have to redo a topend frequently on the shee. <_< Proper lubrication does pay off, ask her!:P

 

And there's nothing like the smell of 927 in the morning... :D
