2004LEBanshee Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 There pretty cheep. buy in bulk even cheeper. My local shop wants 6.99 for 16 oz http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.asp?sid=0004407691 Quote
Ducman Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 Rockey Mountain says $17+shipping for 64oz. my stealer wants $25+tax for the 64oz. You cann usually only get it from a motorcycle shop locally. Quote
ledofthezep Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 (edited) My local shop wants 6.99 for 16 oz Better than my stealer,...try 8.99 here for 16oz I've always used castor927, never had any problems. Still stock topend & it looks brand new still. (knock on wood) I always mix 40:1. Edited April 15, 2004 by ledofthezep Quote
BakoBanshee Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 Another plus is that this shit smells good too! Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 yea been runnin castor 927 for 2 years, pulled out my old pistons hwen i was doin a rebuild almost no carbon buildup, and it does smell damn good Quote
ledofthezep Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 I hear ya frocash,...since my shee's in pieces right now I have the motor on the work bench,...pulled the head off & took a look, stock pistons look 100%....well over 100 hours or better. Even looking in the exhaust ports the pistons look tits & no build-up! Pass that one along to anyone who says you have to redo a topend frequently on the shee. Proper lubrication does pay off, ask her! And there's nothing like the smell of 927 in the morning... Quote
