SICK BOY Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 All the race gas I can buy locally is leaded.I don't think this will hurt anything, but just wanted make sure.Anyone heard of any problems running it?Does it soften the crank seals? Quote
reas11 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 i run it,vp c-12 is leaded, i have had no problems from running it. Quote
lincster Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Yep, run 110 low lead race gas from 76 station. Running it for 3 years, no problems. Pistons look great. Quote
. Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 only thing the lead is bad for is catalytic converters, 0xygen sensors, and newer style valves that have a tighter seal than valves of the old days. Since our banshee has none of these, you've got nothing to worry about. Quote
Pjw350 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I run 110 76 leaded race gas from the pump with no problems for a year or so Quote
