i broke my 450 cases by hittin some railroad tracks and it knocked my cases off and i called insurance and said that the impact caused the chain to come off and they paid for the whole thing. Was like 1000 in parts and 600$ in labor in the estimate which included skids, new chain, sprockets, engine skid, shifter etc.

Well my buddy wanted me to put this info up. Hes selling his 97 banshee- yellow fenders with red rad shrouds. It is pretty much stock but it has some stuff on it. . Its been super reliable through the years- Ive been ridin with it for maybe 3-4 years now. Well if anyone wants more info pm me or email me. 2700 obo thanks

Im runnin a -1 Janssen on my banshee and i love it. You have to get a round house carrier. The quicksand is a similar desgin to janssens but with alittle less $$$ for quicksand.

Well Im leavin to go ridin in tennessee tommarrow for all weekend and only gonna take the yfz450. I have another flywheel in my shop and ill try that one.

Ya I fifgure just buy a new one 125 isnt bad. I probably could have the one I have now looked at but by the time you send it in and wait and stuff Id rather just have a new one.

Thanks alot J.J. I tested the stator and my readings were red to green supposed to be 13.7-20.5 I got 30.2 Red White to Green/White supposed to be 94-140 I got 119 this is maybe 2 year old ricky stator 200W unit. A few weeks ago when I was riding I someohow got water in the stator cover and I didnt know it and after 3 more rides my banshee slowly started to die. It started runnin on one cylinder at times and was runnin like crap boggin and stuff. I think Im just gonna try one of those $125 stock replacement units from Ricky Stator. ANyone else got an opinoin on this. Thanks again J.J. and BenBB

Well my stator cover was filled with water and I think my stator is bad. Its runnin on one cylinder sometimes and has absolutely no power. Does anyone have from the manual what the ohm readings are supposed to be. Thanks

Ill have my black dodge ram truck with a 20' trailer and probably the only illinois plates and a red fullbored banshee, black fullbore drag banshee, yellow stock banshee, and a brand new white/red yfz450.

Well we went there last year and it was real cool. Figured I shoot a post about it to see if anyones gonna go. They have quite a few events mud bogs, drags, poker runs, tug of war. Its sweet ridin around with rednecks from the south. They had a concert last year and raffled away a suzuki quad. anyone headin out there?

ya ive been there 2 times now. 96 db at 3500 rpms. With my toomeys i was at 105 at 2500 rpms- so i threw on my hush kit and was at 97 at 3500 and they let me in. The 2nd time i went there i just got up to 3500 rpms and then when he looked away i dropped the rpms a bit and was down to 92 db he said. Its a real cool place but every time ive been there it was muddy. make sure you bring a change of clothes.

holyman there was an article in the paper about the cliffs trying to get money from them last week or so. I went to the cliffs on saturday and it has some sweet woods. I was at 105 db at around 2750 rpms and the guy told me i couldnt get in. So I put on the hush kit and was at 97 db at 3500 and they let me ride, but he told me to pack the silencers for next time. Theres a ton of woods there and I burned up my clutch. Heres a pic of my shee after ridin there

i think the rates are going to be the same, 3.9% or lower, straight throu yamaha. Im hoping that that promo will still be for a yfz450.

Ive been there once. I sat at the drags all day and ran my shee nonstop for over an hour. there was quite a nice mess of machines there. I think this is only phase one of his park. Hopefully itll get bigger by next year. Its definitely a nice place to ride at. The mx tracks are pretty nice too. O ya I lost twice the whole day at the drags. Theres also a place near maseilles called the cliffs. Its supposed to be 300-400 acres with 100 acre buffer zone for sound, but they sound test you- or so i hear and i think the db limit is 96. I havent been there cause i dont think i could pass. theres also fox valley but They dont let you ride there. THey constantly harp on you for going too fast and it takes the fun out of riding- especially when you pay $20 to ride all day and its only 70 acres
