reas11 Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 i guess your aren't loving it anymore. how do u know its crankcase oil and not too much premix?what ratio are u running it at ? Quote
SDD Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Your air leak might be the source of the oil. Do a leak down test and see if your are leaking out of your case vents. If you are leaking from there your crank seal is bad. Quote
MADMOOSE Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 i would say what kind of premix are u using...me and "crapaholic" were using crap castrol in his yz125 and it was eventualy dripping out his silencer constantly....after we changed to amsoil it was nothing....but if ur getting motor oil up there u got a problem for sure....i would check the gaskets and if there fine look for cracks or somthign like that on the crank walls...could even be a seal on ur crank bearings...i think ur almost goona have to tear it down oh and u dont have to set it on fire its a yami it will do a good job of that itself Quote

MRMOONEY Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 i would guess its your crankcase seal, happens all the time... Quote
Im-Loving-It 69 Posted April 8, 2004 Author Report Posted April 8, 2004 i just put new crank seals in. And when i put them in i put some yama lube around them. ? was that a bad thing to do ? Quote
Im-Loving-It 69 Posted April 12, 2004 Author Report Posted April 12, 2004 Please Help me out i need some answers Quote
erbilabuc Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 what kind of oil do u use? pre mix that is Quote
Im-Loving-It 69 Posted April 12, 2004 Author Report Posted April 12, 2004 Also Im mixture is 40-1 Quote
erbilabuc Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 its probably just the premix and your jetting might still be too rich. Why did u put yamalube around crank seals? Quote
Im-Loving-It 69 Posted April 13, 2004 Author Report Posted April 13, 2004 Because i thought it would make a better seal around the seals. Quote
erbilabuc Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Because i thought it would make a better seal around the seals. yamalube or yamabond? Big difference between the two! Which one did you use Quote
Im-Loving-It 69 Posted April 13, 2004 Author Report Posted April 13, 2004 Oh im sorry I used yamabond. The stuff that you put betwee the two halfs of the cases. Quote
SoldtheRMforaShee Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 bad idea man, thats probably where its comming in. Its a good thing to coat them with oil, 2 stroke oil, but not sealant Quote
