Aussie Quad Racer Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 how did you guys go with the pipes not clearing the p/valve cable drum on the end of the cylinder? i have pro curcuits, is the a pipe that any1 recommends? Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I cut 2" out of my T3's at the same time so I was able to weld them where I wanted them....I believe it's the rocket pipes that fit with no modifications, old school fmfs will fit too...other than that you're pretty well screwed without denting or cuttin/welding Quote
Minkia38 Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 super easy fix: buy rocket pipes! one of the only pipes that will fit without modifications (i think paul turner mids fit also). either way you need an adapter for the bolt on pipes, but the rockets i use clear it just fine. email me for more info on a set they are similar to CPI, but makes 2hp more on the bottom end, very similar power curve, wicked sound! Holyman Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Motofast and Dynaport 2:1 pipes will work, as well as the Paul Turner pipes and the "out of frame" pipes. The rest need a dent in the pipe. Quote
421stroker Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 I took a rubber mallet and beat the shit out of my tr6's. Wasn't a very fun experience. Quote
Minkia38 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 damn! using a hammer on T6s - i couldnt do that if you paid me Quote
Nighty Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 yeah DANG! If i would have witnessed that in person, i would have taken the rubber malled and tapped you on the head with it a few times Quote
