allright, the bolt taht holds the swingarm on up by the shock, ive been tryin to loosen it and i got the bolt off, and when i loosen the bolt it just spins in place, and i tried hitting it pretty ahrd and the shits not movin, even with the combo of hitting and spinning at the same time, any idea why or how i can get it off

are you talking about the swingarm pivot bolt? if so try and impact on one side, and a wrench on the other. that should get it loosened up. if you try to beat it out, put the nut back on it. then you can try whacking it a few times. i had problems one time and i ended up layin it over on its side, then beating it with a 10 pound sledge hammer about 7 times.(with the nut on of course). then when it starts out use a big ass screw driver or socket extension to drive it on out.

Just went through this last winter. I ended up using a die grinder with a thin cutting wheel to cut through the pivit bolt between the swingarm & the inside of the frame.Had to buy a new bolt & bearing kit though.Bet you ass I greased the pivit bolt on reassembly! A total pain in the ass.

Get ya ass to Home Depot, and buy a bigger hammer. You need a really BFH to get this job done. Liek a 20 lb. sledge will do. Just have good aim. Don't hit the frame. Last but not least, you could use the hot wrench....

no shit? i was hitten it with a 5 pound hammer with the nut on of coarse and i though i was doin it some abuse, so i just gotta beat the f*ck outta it with a sledge huh? i thought the pin bearing mighta broke or something and got jammed in there
