snooptodd Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I was wondering what the procedure is for checking the compression? Quote
Wassup350 Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 You need a compression tester. Then you warm your bike up a little, then hook the tester up to the spark plug holes. The compression should be the same or really close on both cylinders. You can get compression testers at Sears or i think napa may have them and other autoparts stores. Quote
banshee tuner Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 you need to give the bike 5 good solid kicks and hold the throttle wide open while doing it. that is your true compression reading. Quote
