yamaholic125 Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 i bought the quad off a guy and he said it needed a cdi block (actually the shop he had it at said that) i have reciepts ne ways so i ordered a new block i got it today i put it in connected it and the shee still won't run. could it be the spark plug wires or the coil (there is only one coil is that right?) I wouldn't be suprised if it was the stator maybe cdi box. Quote

Hockey390 Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Are you not getting any spark? If you havent already done so, check the spark plugs. Unscrew a plug, keep it connected to the cap, and hold the end close to the frame, kick it over and see if a spark jumps. Quote
