He has a +4 stroke and some other stuff...... As soon as the money tree comes back to life I'm grabbing a set of 21 x 11 x 8 9 paddle extremes. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I think you mean 22-11-8 on 9 paddles. 9 paddles will need about 60-65hp and maybe a swing arm. Quote
350duner Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 With 9 paddles you'll want an extended swingarm. You should get Extremes too since Skat Trak changed their rubber compound and so nicely have the paddle cracking problems now on regular haulers. The amount of paddles depend on your HP and swingarm length. It's a trade off, the more traction you get the longer swingarm you need to keep the front end down (and more HP to keep from bogging). I have 22x11x8 12 paddle extremes on my shee and my +6 swingarm has gotta go, won't keep the front end down. Quote
vmaxup Posted March 22, 2004 Author Report Posted March 22, 2004 so should i go with 8 paddle what size. or are we saying forget scat track haulers Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 so should i go with 8 paddle what size. or are we saying forget scat track haulers I would go withg the 8 paddles. 350duner - what do you have in that bike for an engine? I have 22x11x8 12 paddle extremes Shit that is a lot of tire! Quote
BdBanshee Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I borrowed a brand new set of 20-10-10 11 paddle Extremes this last weekend at L.S. for Spring Break. They worked great for draggin, but I felt got a little too much traction for overall riding. My swingarm is only about 1/2" longer than stock, and I weigh about 165. I think I will go back with 10 paddle Hauler Extremes, my last 2 sets of regular haulers had the crappy paddles that cracked and flew off. Quote
