What Gearing?

Hey guys, got a question, ive got an 02, its got a cool head with 17cc domes, i use 30:1 110 leaded fuel, mild porting, .020 over prolites, stock carbs with k and n pods, boyesen reeds and 3/8 spacers, boost bottle, fmf sst pipes, i ride trails and in the dunes, i need a new chain and sprockets and im still running stock gearing, i can tell that its not moving to its potential, also ive got a digitron avenger 3 egt and im looking for the proper distance from the piston in witch to mout the probes and digitron has been no help, any info would be great, thanks, Ryan

for gearing i would go with a 15t front and the stock rear (41t) ported and even piped banshees really respond well to the 15t front

my freind has a bunch of shit done to his, im not even onna list it all, and we ride coalm banks and hes got a 15th and cant hook up, with mudsharks in the rear, so he may go 16 or 17 th

I run a 15-41 and it is a lot better than stock gearing, not so much changing gears. I geared up cause I would rev out before I would get as fast as I wanted to go. Try that and if you rev out to easy go up some more.

Me too. The 15/41 is a great gear setup. I swap the rear sprocket for fine tuning depending on where I'm riding.
