locogato11283 Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 ive heard quite a bit about having cranks welded and trued and all this. what happens when these things go? how can you tell. does it lock up or what? i am just curious as to what the signs are of a crank seperating.(i guess this is the right term) any info would be appreciated. demsy Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 if anything happens, it should rub on the connecting rod. than u will no cause its just bogs down and turns off.. happen to me.... i tought i ran out of gas but no,, so i tryed to start lots of kicks, when it started sounded like someone put a shit load of bolts in there...
