im still working on the front brakes and i figured out why they wont bleed. how do you get the piston in the brake unstuck? i pushed it in and it was really hard and i cant geet it back out. i think is about stuck haha. so how do you all get it unstuck? thanks, jayare

if it won't push back out you might have rolled the seal in the caliper when you pushed it back in or you don't have any brake pressure to push it back out. you could have air in the lines, a junk master, or your piston is plain seized in there. take the line off the caliper and shoot compressed air in there to push it back out. if you get it all the way out. check the piston and seal for damage

You cant just close the brake bleader valve and squeeze the brake lever to push it back out? :blink:

yeah, that's what i thought. the piston sticking is not the reason for not being able to bleed it. rather having air in the lines is the reason for the piston not coming out. bleed the system as much as possible, and once you've pushed enough air out, it should eventually push out. if it's seized bad enough that after bleeding, the pressure from applying the brake won't push it out, you need to pull that caliper apart, and see what's going on. may just need a good cleaning, or may be some internal damage, in which case you don't want to force it out some other way.
