Do you have to put the little rubber orings back in after you do the clutch? I am talking about the rubber ones between the friction and steel plates? Also what is the torque specs on the spring Bolts?

Thanks

Magnum clutch, I noticed in the kit, there is no orings in the kit and I didnt know if you just reused the stock ones or just dont put them back in. Yes they are the Big round black rubber ones.

Leave them out, you won't need them. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. My g/f's dad put one in a shee a while back & I am 99% sure he didn't put the stock o-rings back in. With HD clutches, you generally don't need them. Be sure & soak the friction plates in your case oil for about 30min--hr before installing. ;)

No you don't need the o-rings.They are to eliminate clutch chatter on the stock clutches. The aftermarket clutches have more material on the friction plates. If you hold the stock ones beside the aftermarket ones you'll see what I mean.

So ledofthezep is right, but you don't have to soak them for 30 min.It only take about 5 min. But it doesn't matter if they are soaked longer.Just put some oil in a zip lock bag then put in the clutches, seal it up then start taking the old ones out,by the time your ready for the new ones they will be plenty saturated with the oil.
