jeffro189 Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 i have hd my banshee for about four years now, and have done alot of modifications to it. i have had alot of people tell me to get a different trans for it, because the stock ones are junk. i ask them what is junk obout them, and they can never answer me. so i am just asking all of you guys what is junk about the stock trans???? If you break something, fix it; if not...well that 'shit' tranny in the shee is better than they say. I've had my shee for years now, it's a '97 and I've had no tranny issues that were major at all. NYUK Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 there are not aftermarket trans for a banshee.a banshee trans will hold up fine up to around 100hp.there are things you can do to strengthen it,such as cryo,and rz forks.but i think the guys talking to you are talking about the wrong bike.17 years and still going strong.what are they riding?01 raptors?now theres a bad trans.
